How Do I Get Started With Your Design Services?

  1. Fill Out Our Contact Form
    Please complete our Contact form with your information and a short description of what design work you need.

  2. Schedule a Discovery Call

    I’ll send you a link to set up a call, or you can choose a time directly from my calendar here. This call is our opportunity to discuss your business goals, vision, and preferences and to see if we're the right fit for your project.

  3. Email Proposal
    After our call, I’ll send you an email with a proposal that outlines our conversation, the budget we agreed on, and what I will deliver. This email will serve as a record of our agreement.

  4. Review and Sign the Agreement

    If we decide to move forward after our Discovery Call, I’ll send you a detailed contract via DocuSign. Please read it carefully to make sure it meets your needs. If everything looks good, sign the agreement to officially start our partnership.

  5. Make a 50% Deposit
    Our agreement requires a 50% deposit to begin the project. This deposit books your place in our schedule and allows us to start planning your project. You’ll receive an invoice for this deposit via Wave.

  6. Project Kickoff

    Once your deposit is received, I’ll start working on your project. Whether it’s creating a new brand name, designing a brand identity, building a website, or any other graphic design work, I'll focus on shaping your ideas into reality, making sure everything aligns with what you're looking for.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We currently accept payments via Wave , a secure and user-friendly payment platform.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?

Yes, we provide payment plans. In our discovery session, we’ll talk about your needs and set up a payment plan that suits your business. We aim to offer flexible payment options to make our services accessible and maintain a smooth, professional collaboration.

Which Platform Do You Use to Build Websites?

Wix®, Wix Studio, Squarespace®, ShowIt, Duda, and WordPress.​

What Products Do You Use for Graphic Design?

We use Adobe Products® for all our graphic design work. Adobe’s tools, like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, are the gold standard in the design industry and allow us to create precise, high-quality designs that meet professional standards.

Why Don’t You Use Canva?

Canva is great for quick, basic tasks but falls short for professional, unique branding. It uses pre-made templates that can stifle creativity and result in generic-looking designs. Also, Canva doesn't offer the advanced features required for detailed, high-quality branding and print projects.

What’s Included in Your Design Services?

When you hire me for design work—whether it's coming up with a new brand name, designing your brand identity, creating your website, or making graphics—here's what happens:

  1. First, we'll chat. I'll get to know what you need and what you're aiming for with your project.

  2. Then, I'll do some research. I'll learn about your field and start sketching out ideas that fit your business.

  3. I'll create the designs. You'll look them over, tell me what you think, and I'll make any changes you suggest. This way, we make sure everything turns out just right.

  4. Finally, I'll send you the finished files. You'll get all the designs in a format that you can use anywhere you need them, like your website or printed materials.

How Do You Determine Pricing for Your Design Services?

Pricing is based on:

  • The scope and complexity of your project.

  • The expertise and time required to deliver exceptional results.

  • Customization and specific needs unique to your business.

How Many Rounds Of Revisions Are Included?

Our standard package includes one to two rounds of revisions to ensure the final design meets your expectations. Additional revisions can be discussed if needed.

How Can I Request Revisions or Changes?

You’ll receive initial design drafts for review. Share your feedback with specific instructions, and we’ll refine the design based on your input to achieve the desired outcome.

How Can I Use the Final Design?

Once the project is complete, you’ll receive full ownership and copyright of the design, allowing you to use it across all platforms without restriction.

What’s the Process for Terminating the Contract?

Contract termination terms are outlined in our agreement, which we review with you before starting the project. This ensures transparency and mutual understanding from the outset.

Can You Offer Discounts or Adjust Pricing?

Our prices are set based on the value, expertise, and resources we provide, ensuring you receive top-quality results. If you have budget constraints, let us know upfront. Do You Provide Editable Source Files for Every Project?

We prioritize giving our clients full control over their branding and design assets. Editable source files are available for most design services upon request. These may include formats such as Adobe Photoshop (PSD), Adobe Illustrator (AI), or other appropriate file types based on the project. Having access to these files allows you to make updates, customizations, or modifications as your business evolves.

Please note that the inclusion of editable source files may vary based on the specific service or package you select. To ensure your needs are met, we recommend discussing this option with our team during the project planning phase.

How Can I Be Sure I’ll Like What You Design?

We make sure our designs meet your expectations and reflect your vision. Here's our straightforward approach:

How Do I Know If We’re a Good Fit?

It’s important to choose a designer whose work aligns with your vision. Reviewing our portfolio is the best way to assess if our design style suits your business needs. A designer’s style often reflects their strengths and preferences, which naturally influence their work. If you can imagine your project fitting into our body of work, it’s likely a good match.

What Services Are Included in Your Brand Naming Package? 

I offer creative brand naming services that include brainstorming unique names, initial name screening for obvious conflicts with major brands, and providing a list of potential names based on your business's unique characteristics and market position.

Do You Check if the Brand Names Are Legally Available? 

While I do conduct a basic check to see if the proposed names are being used by major competitors, I do not perform comprehensive legal screenings. I strongly recommend that you consult with a trademark attorney to ensure the name is legally available for use before you finalize your choice.

Can You Register a Trademark for the Brand Name? 

I focus on the creative side of brand naming and do not handle legal registrations. To protect your chosen name, please consult a legal professional who can assist with trademark registration.

What Happens if a Name You Suggested is Already Taken? 

If you find that a name I've suggested is in use, I can provide additional naming suggestions. Remember, it's important to have a legal check done, which I recommend doing through a qualified attorney to avoid any trademark or legal issues.

How Many Name Options Do You Provide?

I typically provide a list of 5-10 potential names based on your brief. This number allows for a variety of choices without overwhelming the decision process.

What if I Don’t Like Any of the Names You Suggest? 

If none of the initially suggested names feel right for your business, I'm happy to go back to the drawing board. We can have further discussions to better understand your preferences and provide additional naming options.

Are There Any Industries You Don’t Create Names For? 

I am open to working with a wide range of industries, but I avoid creating names for businesses that are outside of my expertise or that may require specialized industry knowledge that could impact legal or regulatory compliance.

How Long Does It Take to Complete a Branding Project?

The timeline depends on the scope of deliverables. A logo design project typically takes 3–4 weeks, while a full brand identity package, including additional collateral pieces, can take up to 2 months. Clear communication and timely feedback from your side help us stay on schedule and ensure the best results.

How Critical Is My Logo and Branding?

Your logo and branding are central to how your business is perceived. They appear everywhere—on your website, emails, presentations, and marketing materials. A strong logo represents your business values and connects with your audience.

It’s equally important that your branding extends beyond the logo, creating a cohesive look across all your materials. This consistency reinforces your identity, ensuring that even without your logo, your brand is easily recognizable.

What If You Haven’t Worked in My Industry Before?

That’s a great question. While I may not have experience in every industry, the principles of strong design are universal. In fact, working across different industries can bring fresh ideas to your field, avoiding clichés that may dominate within it. I always start by researching your competitors and similar organizations to understand the standards in your industry. From there, we’ll determine whether your brand should align with those standards or stand out, and I’ll design accordingly. A skilled designer can deliver impactful results in any industry.

How Long Does It Take to Build a New Website?

The typical timeline for a new website is 12 to 16 weeks, depending on the project scope and client collaboration.

Will I Be Able to Update the Website Myself After It’s Finished?

Yes, absolutely! Once your website is complete, you’ll have full control to make updates as needed. To help you feel confident managing your site, I can provide recorded video tutorials through DROPBOX CAPTURE, walking you through the essentials step by step. These tutorials walk you through the essentials step by step and are available for an additional fee. This ensures you have the tools and knowledge to manage your website independently.

Will You Maintain My Website for Me?

Yes, I can. I offer ongoing support for many of my clients who prefer professional help with updates, maintenance, or troubleshooting.

Will My Website Be Mobile-Friendly?

Who Provides the Content for the Website?
